The said no, in fact they would go up because its a modification !

Only really high desire items that have a track record of being stolen and even then its hit and miss as to whether the reduction in premium will cover hthe anual paymnet for the tracker.

I hate trackers. If my car gets stolen by some pikey **** I don't want it back!

If you're driving a Scooby then in a lot of cases you have to have a tracer fitted or else you won't get insurance.

A guy I work with bought his with Tracker installed - he just had to activate a new subscription, but its the only way he could get it insured.

My last two cars have had Trackers, but they haven't adjusted my premium either up or down! They were relics of where I used to live, but I'm not sure I'd bother again unless my insurer insisted I had one before they'd cover me...

Bit of a waste of money in my own opinion, most insurers dont requiore them and as above, who wants their car back after it has been stolen/recovered?

In addition, you have to pay a yearly/monthly subscription.
