Hi All

Just begun looking at VRS's as I'm bored with my Passat TDI140!

I've noticed that there are some pre-facelift cars out there with the later steering wheel, climate/aircon panel and the later bolero style headunit, can anyone tell me if there are any exterior differences that would help spot these semi-facelift cars in an advert? Is there also a build date range which applies to these cars?

cheers!

Paul

I don't believe that there are any exterior clues. The update dash cars were all built in the early part of 09 from what i have been told.

The Octy VRs MkII Limited Edition (LE) has the 2009 interior same as the FL with better leathers IMO. You can easy spot these as they come in one colour anthrorcite (Grey) with Limited (spoke type) Edition wheels...be careful though there are a number of hybrids out there.... the only way of really knowning is by looking inside, the hybrid ones has the old style interior but same body colour..oh! and the LE will be on 09 plates with a number or exceptions.

Glasses online valuation tool suggests a build date range of January to April 2009 for the semi-facelift vRS cars
