Well, they didn't last long

Featured Replies

I have Lidl 50% brighter (sic) bulbs fitted, and this morning turned the headlights on to be met with a bong and a the light failure warning light. I could see that at least one headlight was lit so trying the computer reboot trick I turned the headlights off and on again only to find that now both headlight bulbs were out!

They've been in less than 6 months. Luckily I bought 2 sets and so a quick bulb change and I'm on my way.

Not impressed with the longevity I have to say.

Still they were cheap enough.

You really do get what you pay for sometimes ;)

Second that :)

I bet they still would have lasted longer than NightBreakers and have been much cheaper.

These cheap bulbs at Lidl look attractive, but you have to ask yourself, Why are they so cheap??

I have the Lidl 50% brighter bulbs in several cars and none have failed yet: the oldest set celebrated their 3rd birthday a few weeks ago.

Maybe it is a problem with your car.

Re Lidl lightbulbs: the oldest set celebrated their 3rd birthday a few weeks ago.

More info. please on how a lightbulb celebrates it's birthday................

Candlelit dinner for two perhaps?

Maybe a main course followed by a cheese dip at a flash restaurant?
