Im half way through changing my steering rack for a LCR one,

the power steering fluid i have drained out is a green colour, ive got halfords own powersteering fluid, but this is red!

Ok to use? or a definate no no?

thats a no no as far as i know mate pretty sure it has to be the green vag stuff you put back in.

should be the vag green fluid, its different stuff to the red "auto trans oil", it will live with red but the seals arn't designed for it
