Hi guys , just bought a 1.8 20v non turbo octavia it was cheap , the emissions warning light is on .

Seems to drive ok , struggles a little to start , does anyone have any ideas ? Lambda sensor ?

The best thing you can do is find someone near you with VAGCOM or VCDS and read the fault codes. That will help to pinpoint the exact issue.
