Battery Question

Featured Replies

I changed the spark plugs today to try and cure a misfire and poor running at low revs on my Fabia 8v.

The new plugs have made a tremendous difference but I still get an intermittent misfire when accelerating BUT only when headlights are on !

The car also suffers from the occasional flicking headlights even when the steering is not being moved.

When checking the battery connections I noticed the battery is a Bosch battery but only rated at 45 AH. On the halfords (and other battery sites) it shows the battery should be rated at 60 AH

Could this be causing my electrical problems ?

Many thanks

Chris

could be an alternator fault

i'd get the charging system checked over
