Just found source of creeking/rattle

Featured Replies

Just a heads up, found the left hand side of the silver trim above the glovebox is creeking, when you push to left had corner it creeks. I have pushed it right in but when the passenger door closes sometimes it creeks again. You can hear it at slow speeds. Anyone else found this or a fix? How does the trim remove??

Ta.

My 2006 does this quite bad. Would be interested to hear a fix for it :)

There is 2 or 3 screws securing the strip behind, i would try taking the glovebox out and tigtening it up.

If that doesn't sort it, i would look at putting some thin padding behind it to stop it creaking.

loosen the screws under the glovebox (in the footwell)l they may be too tight. Took me months to find it!
