'Trick' Audi / VW / Seat Parts that Fit Octy II

Featured Replies

Just a thought.....

There is "brand differentiation" between "Skoda" and other VAG brands, which results in some options only being available on certain VAG marques....

My line of thinking runs, that there must be some neat little gadgets, that are availiable on other VAG cars, but haven't yet trickled down to the Octavia (or trickled up even)... some of this might be trivia... for example, would a VW washer empty sensor plug in fit into the loom of a Skoda, and for example, display on the Maxidot? Are there other little sensors or gadgets, on a Golf e.t.c. which in theory would plug into an Octavia II, but arent offered by the dealers?

One particular point... for those with Columbus, the reversing cameras thus far fitted to Skodas all seem a bit boring.... whereas the VW CC has a nice one which pops out of the rear badge.... now I realise that there would be a bit of bodywork modification involved, not to mention changing the badge, but I'd be interested if this could fit onto an Octy?

Thoughts welcome!

Most things are possible, just comes down to cost at the end of the day.

How about a Leon FR / GTI flat bottomed wheel? I've seen someone on Seat Cupra.net has a GTI wheel in his Leon. So much sportier than the Octy's

I have the Audi S3 / TTS short shift linkage fitted to my VRS TSi. Bought it from my local Audi dealer for about £27. Reduced my throw between 3RD -4TH, 5TH - 6TH by approx 2cms LOL, (Actually I never measured it, it is shorter now but not massively so, but still feels nice and smooth).

If you have the auto dimming mirror the one off the touraeg with the LED's will fit plug and play.

I remember the VW Touareg cig lighter torch being an object of lust a while back
