Well after a few days of deliberation I just ordered a new vRS Octy

Spec - 5dr, TDI, DSG, Xenons, Maxidot, Heated seats, Sunroof, Met paint, Dimming mirror+light assist, F+R park sensors, rear sunblind, Mats +spare wheel (Still cant believe you have to pay for that!)

Lets hope the delivery time of "upto 14 weeks" passes quickly!

Fair play to you, won't be able to look at that for at least a year!!!!! ( Could always sell the War Dept---would probably only just cover the cost of your spare wheel !!!)

BTW..I hope you didnt pay extra for Maxidot..Its standard with the DSG gearbox

I did pay extra for Maxi-dot, £130 to be exact, well I haven't paid for it yet of course but its on the order. I couldn't see in the brochure anywhere it said that it was standard with DSG though? It did say that the multi-function steering wheel was standard with DSG however.

At least the weather should improve by the time you take delivery

I'd double check it then if I was you, to be honest there are very few sales people out there that actually know what they are talking about.

I ordered Maxidot when i ordered car back in October and think they did a spec upgrade from week 45 to incorporate XDS stability system and maxidot as standard.I will have to contact my dealer and get some sort of refund me thinks !

The brochure is not up to date..neither is your dealer..Get a refund
