Which Columbus for a FL Octy?

Featured Replies

What's the correct part number for a Columbus to go in a FL Octy?

Should it be 3T0 035 680B rather than a 1Z0 version?

it's the same as the pre fl..possibly need a new facia though

The Correct part no. is a 1Z0

3T0 will work but you can run into coding issues.

You will need to order the correct facia surround which incorporates the new style aircon etc.

If i get chance over the weekend i'll dig out the correct part no's for you

I'd appreciate that, thanks. I was led to believe a 1Z0 would suit a pre-FL but a 3T0 would be better for the FL?

Either or will work

You just MAY get coding issues with the 3T0 unit. I'm pretty sure that a 3T0 is a superb unit only but i may be wrong.

By that i mean it may not be plug and play and require a bit of extra coding but it will still work

A 3T0 will even work in a Pre-FL

Any update on this?

is this correct the 1Z0 is the best unit suited for a FL octavia?? is there any difference in functionality form the 3T0 ? Cheers

I am now under the impression that it is the 3T0 as the Superb and FL octy share the same nav unit.

Any further on this - has anyone run into coding issues going from Bolero to 3T0? I have PDC, Climate and bluetooth on the display of the bolero and also have maxidot.

Thats because Red is the best colour!

I know that the 3T0 is what comes from the factory now but I was wandering about coding as i presume that the parking sensors and bluetooth will need coding.
