Damaged door facia

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've have a VRS Octavia MrkII which I absolutely love and its the best car I've ever had.

The only problem I have with the car is that the plastic where you rest your elbow on the car door has become mis-shapen and now cracked. I'm putting it into the dealer and hope it will be sorted. I just wonder if anyone else has this problem. I've only done 13000 miles (I did 60000 in a vectra and it only ever got slightly shiny where my elbow went.

Thanks

I have a 2007 VRs which has done circa 50K miles, I think mine has been like this for the last 30K! Mine hasn't cracked yet but it is very misshapen, I was going to get it changed under warranty but as the car is going back in a few weeks due to my new one on order I not going to bother. I think if you search on here you may find others that have had the same problem (could be classed as a common fault). I hope that helps put your mind at rest.
