feeler: value of stock vrs springs and dampers

Featured Replies

I have a set of eibach springs and koni FSD dampers going on my car tomorrow - the car was new on wednesday this week - plan is to sell the stock vrs springs and dampers which will have only about 300 miles on them by the time they come off ie they are virtually new.

Just posting to get a feel for the potential interest? Could be of interest to someone with a high mileage vrs, or upgrade for one of the lesser models?

Should I pop them on the briskoda forsale board (if so, how much do you think would be a reasonble price?) or just stick them on ebay?

Thoughts/ ideas/offers/****-takes?

:D

thanks

Rob

I'm in the same boat. I have a set of FL Vrs springs that have only done 2500 miles. No idea what they are worth or whether anyone would want them?

I would be tempted to do one of the following

1) Put on ebay and see what they fetch

2) Keep them incase you need/want to put the car back to standard

3) Pay for freedom and advertise on here :giggle:

I kept the stanard setup for the fabia though I've never used it since...............maybe when I sell it I might.

I've had a look at these before...but its worth mentioning what model you have, and what type of engine, and estate or hatch as the OEM ones are quite specific to the weight of the cars.

are they from a TSI or Diesel Variant?

vimto & daz - its right there underneath my user name: 2010 Facelift 2.0T FSI estate :)

polocoupe: good idea on the "freedom" thing - just done it, will post a for sale whatsit in the appropriate forum. I'll leave these on here for a week or so and if no takers then its on to ebay.
