is the indicator switch ment to go off automatically on the pick up when you straighten up mine doesnt .also i have a wrattlin noise when i start the van when i rev the van or press the clutch this wrattle stops what could this be

I believe there are clips on the indicator stalk which tend to break so the auto off stops working.

I had a rattle from clutch/gearbox when idling in neutral with clutch released. Disappeared after replacing the clutch. The finger springs on the pressure plate were rather worn where pressed by the release bearing, I guess that somehow caused it.
