Seat belt buckle replacing / Front seat removal

The seatbelt buckle on my Fabia 2 has now jammed. Had to

use passenger side buckle as a temporary measure.

I picked up a replacement one for 12 quid but what I'd like to

know: is removing the drivers side front seat straightforward

or not? The only way I can replace the buckle is by doing this.

PS: The alarm that sounds when the seatbelts are engaged

lasts for 2 mins then switches off. Bet nobody had the patience

to test that one out!
