Retrofit Front Parking Sensors

Featured Replies

I enquired about the retro fitting of the front parking sensors and was told the kit could not be connected to the Columbus to show the on screen display as per the factory fitted rear sensors.

Is this correct? If the rear sensors show on the display, I would have thought that the "box of tricks" was already there and it was just a case of wiring in the front sensors.

Thanks.

Hmmm that doesn't sound right.

It might just be the dealer doesn't know how. Worth calling skoda customer care and getting put through to technical?

The retro fit ones in the accessory brochure are not the same one as factory fit... I'm sure there are a couple of people on here who have managed to retro fit the factory ones though so may be worth a search of the forums

I searched the forums and believe retrofitted OEM sensors and a change of the PDC etc would do the job.

There was a write up that I had read in the past at http://briskoda.net/octavia-ii/retrofitted-oem-front-parking-sensors-lot-pics/93128/ but it appears to be a dead link now.

Is there anyone that can do a OEM retrofit? I would prefere to pay someone to fit rather than attempting myself.

Thanks.
