Superb 2006 Alarm Won't stop

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

Just picked up my 2006 Superb from the independent dealer yesterday - had flat battery when arrived for test drive the previous day and alarm went off after drive finished (but didn't think anything of it).

Have been up for the last few hours (since 4am.... along with the neighbours) trying to get the alarm to stop - locks ok on the remote and by key (turned twice) but alarm still going off!!

Have also tried the internal movement button on the drivers door but that's not made any difference.

Help please! - I've got to travel today and tomorrow and will struggle to get to a dealer - reading the threads for similar fault on Fabia, is there a fuse I can pull to at least silence the siren

Thanks in advance for your help - my first Skoda!

Dave

Proberbly one of the other microswitches, the boot, and bonnet along with all 4 doors are protected. if the system thinks something is open the alarm will trigger.

Agreed, but try checking all the windows are fully up, and also disconnect the battery overnight and hope it resets the system, also I know it sounds stupid, but is it windy and cold where you are, if so close the vents on the dash.
