Skoda Assistance breakdown cover

Featured Replies

Dear All,

Just after opinions on this as my cover is up for renewal.

About 2 years ago I signed up for 2years skoda ssistance cover for IIRC about 150 quid, which was a pretty good deal considering it was about as comprehensive as youd want. Now they sent me a renewal letter which is for 12months cover £9.08 a month, which isnt such a good deal imo.

Are their any bargains to be had at the moment, or can anyone recommend a similarly comprehensive alternative service? (skoda were very good when i had to call them out i should say)

cheers

Not sure if this helps, but if you start shopping around with the likes of the AA/RAC/Green Flag then it may be worth purchasing via Quidco. I've just had £50 back from the price of my AA policy.

Try these…

Full cover is £66 for 15 months, and a no claims bonus deal every year.

I've never actually had to use them but they get good reviews on the web

cheers guys, the majors seem fairly expensive, a;though the quidco discounts make some of them reasonable.

green insurance co. & quoteline direct come highly recommended and seem to offer the works + euro for under 60 quid. I cant seem to find any major differences in the policies. (although green is only 60days euro a year compared with 90 days for qld).

Euro is important to me as i make the occasional trip abroad. Last year i did a 2 week driving tour of germany (fan bloody tastic it was) and i was glad to have had the cover.
