Hello all this is my first post on this website. What an informative website. I've had Skodas for years. Had a Fabia RS a few years back. Then had kids and now have a 1.4 Octavia.

My question is. Yesterday my wife called me and said that the passenger side window was stuck down. She brought the car to a mechanic and he got the window back up. I got home last night and tried the drivers side switch...Nothing happened but all the other windows go up and down. Then tried the passenger side and the window stays up. Nothing happening.

Can anyone on here tell me what is gone wrong.

take off the little cover on the door, see if the wire is correctly connected.
