Accident Damage?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've just purchased an 04 Octavia 1.9 Tdi (new shape) and I have just noticed that there are no badges on the rear of the car. The HPI check came back clear so the car certainly hasn't been written off and when I examined the car for badly fitted panels, overspray etc etc, it all looked fine.

Was it ever an option not to have badges on the back like you can with BMW? After looking at loads of photos of these cars on google images etc, I haven't seen one without badges on the rear. I'm starting to think the car may of been involved in a rear end shunt at some point although there is no apparent evidence of this.

Anyone got any thoughts?

Thanks..

Thnnks guys.

To be honest there are no obvious signs of repair work and everything at the back end is ok, ie even tyre wear etc so I am probably just being too paranoid!

Craig..
