Brakes... info needed...

Featured Replies

I am interested to know, is the Octavia vRS brake MC the same as on the LCR? same size and that?

What are peoples thoughts on the feel of the brakes and the travel on the pedal when they have put bigger brakes on?

Ive been looking around and wondered what people thought of these monsters? do you think that the std system on the vRS is too small to cope with them?

cheers

you can go big brakes with no probs all down to the wheels your running wouldnt go to overkill lol

lot of money can spend £600 and get a full kit 335 disc etc and you will never need more braking than that lol

compbrake kit looks awesome so does the large porsche brakes

yea the 6 pot comps are there at 950 iirc but I am looking around still, Just dont want to have a soft long travel pedal if I do go bigger. I will be running the TD 18" et 35s and the R32 18" et 35 so shouldnt be a problem I hope,

Does anyone know the dimentions of the std LCR 18"?

you wil be fine with any 18's tbh buddy even if you have to run a spacer but i doubt it.

lots of big brake kit about and most wont give you the hard pedal best get on mk4 gti forum there is a gu on there who is a complete brake guru and he sells all sorts of kits for very good prices buddy
