They are about to change the Sharan/Alhambra etc so that means you can either get a great deal on an old one or you should wait for a newer one that is more up to date. Shame about the "boss", I read your previous answer on this and you have my sympathy.

Ask them again in 2 days time. Plausible deniability as they told the President in Independence Day. If they stick their heads in the sand and don't research their own product regarding upcoming changes then they can claim quite rightly after the event that they did not know about Tangerine being a new colour. You then do not delay ordering your Yeti and they get a sale. You feel miffed afterwards as you really wanted Tangerine but what do they care?

Does this sound bitter? I have a very low opinion of car salesman/customer service people giving good information. They give you what they want you to hear to sell the cars they have at that very moment. The last thing they want is for you to hold back buying their cars.

I could just be overly bitter mind and the Tangerine will not arrive in the UK for another 2 years. I am trying to convince myself as well as I have ordered my car and I would have liked a louder colour.

My ideal Yeti spec would be an Elegance with Alcantara seats, MDI and 17in Dolomite wheels (+ some other stuff that I can have such as Columbus!)

Best way to get that would be to go for a specced up SE and hope Skoda UK introduce the MDI, but that would end up costing more than the Elegance!

Seems a bit silly you can spec alcantara or leather on the SE for the same price but you can't have alcantara at all on the Elegance

It will be Sports Seats and Tangerine exterior for me! Heated windscreen a possibility.

I'm used to sports seats and the regular seats were about the only possible gripe I had about Yeti as they did not offer enough lateral support. Tangerine will be good, I had a Fabia I in the equivalent colour its great; classy, distinctive and doesn't 'show the dirt'.

C'mon .......

Spoke to customer services and they said they have no knowledge of when the heated windscreen will become an option in the UK

Just a thought on the windscreen front. I bought a windscreen frost protector from Tesco for £3 last weekend. It is a grey shiny nylon gizmo that is very simple to attach to the screen. It has worked really well this week. I appreciate it is harder if you park on a road, annoying vandals may rip it off, but if you park on your drive then it is a simple option.

I'll have to choose between Corrida Red, Storm Blue or Muscovado. I don't want anything too dark (Pacific Blue or Black), nor any of the light metallics (silver, cappuchino, aqua blue).
