chande one of the ignition coils but problem still persistent....dont have access to a OBD computer anyway to know what the real issue is i had a golf a while back with the same problem after changing coil pack, injectors, fuel pump and filter, maf, problem was still there then got idea of oxy sensor from some of the forums...how can i be sure??...pls help.....this is my run around car and am stuck...ASAP....

on the golf it turned out that the O2 sensor had konked out cause i put back all the old parts and the car ran fine...just dont want to end up spending more than the car is worth...he he he...my question is..is there a way i can be sure about what is broken without the scanner....damn i miss th good old carb engines...as simple as a tin can
