What mods could i do to the Fab

Featured Replies

Got a VRS had it since July last year but havent realy done anything to it to 'personalise' it apart from a stage1 remap. What could i do?Im not minted so expensive mods would be out of the question but little things i could do.

jabbasport or whiteline rear antiroll bar

Cupra R splitter

front strut brace

Furry dice hanging from the mirror?

Adam and XXXX stickers on the top of the windscreen?

Rabbit tail tied to the aerial?

Teddy in a hammock?

Must be some more!

Debadge the bootlid = FREE

Aero front and rear wipers, (rear one from a Polo). Aluminium Tax disc holder. Better headlight bulbs, silver indicators (de-tango).

All these are about £20 each, although I'm not sure on the Polo wiper.

Im in the same situation but ive only had mine for a week. I was looking at changing the front grill, thinking that would make it original, but don't know any good sites to get one from any one help? What about different tail lights? Also you could get what's called a beesting aerial costs about 15 quid. I'll be keeping an eye on this forum I'll let u know what i've been looking at if you like.

Iv don't nothing major to mine, but have been doing little bits as and when I can. My top 3 that made the most difference is

1, colour coded grill, easy to do, iv never sprayed in my life but it still looks good now, bar a few stone chips. £20ish

2, Take the fabia badge off, I'm still debating over the vrs one too £free

3, This made a big difference IMO, but it depends if u need to see out the rear window, but just ditch the wiper all together, much smoother lines £free, except a bung for the hole

what size would the bung have to be?

do you really want to remove the rear wiper on a dirty, smokey diesel...

like people have said; debadging can look good and is free, a smaller aerial looks good and is cheap and getting rid of the chrome around the front grill shouldn't be too pricey either

You can get debadged grills from superskoda.com some of them are quite nice, but a little pricey, I'm sure somebody here will know where you can get them for less though.

You could DIY some mesh in place of the stock grill, there's a how to hidden somewhere in the depths of this forum.

Wheels is always a good one, set yourself a budget and get on fleebay, there are always some bargains floating around, remember most things VAG will fit ;)

sharks fin ariel would look great too. I think that's next on my to do list.

PD160 intake maybe?

Mk4 Golf sunglasses holder to replace grab handle.
