Can anyone tell me how to remove the clear plastic wing mirror indicator cover on my Octavia Ambiente mk2 (2006) so that I can replace the LED as it has just failed the MOT on this point only.

Thanks. I've had that translated and I'll give it a go tomorrow. It seems very difficult to lift the top section though as I did have a try. What sort of force will it take?

I just put it through Google Translater (free). Unfortunately it comes out over 12 pages as the photos were in between. Also, the translation is not terribly accurate and you have to make a few guesses. (probably end up taking out the rear light bulbs!)

its really easy to remove if you take off the mirror glass first. Just be carefull when removing the glass not to break it, once removed you can see the mirror retaining clips and the screws that hold the indicator module in place.
