whats the best way to clean the white bits on the seats without damaging the seat or marking them any worse???

Try AG interior shampoo

A light misting, Agitated with a very soft brush one complete section at a time, Wipe with a frequently rinsed and wrung cloth, Repeat until your fully satisfied!

Don't overwet the seats!

I do mine with a little Vanish stain remover spray diluted with warm water and a little soft bristled scrubbing brush.

Only use a small quantity of whatever cleaner you go for, and dry it with a hair dryer (or do it in the summer) or it will leave nasty brown water marks.

I found that certain interior cleaners made the staining worse. Best thing believe it or not is baby wipes!

Especially when you have babies and young children permanently dropping chocolate and other food on the seats
