Can anyone shed any light on how the MDi works with iPhones on the Bolero stereo. I've been told that it forces the iPhone into flight mode. Does anybody know if this is the case?

nope, mine ASKS me if I want to go to flight mode, just told it no & everything works fine, when a call comes in, it connects via the bluetooth.

Can you connect via Bluetooth without going through the MDI? I want to run the ipod through the MDI but the iphone won't connect to the car system?

If you have the Skoda Bluetooth I don't believe that you can connect an iPhone. I have a Fiscon and the iPhone connects just fine for both music and phone calls. I can have the iPhone connected via Bluetooth and an ipod connected via the MDI and an SD card all at the same time if i want.

I went for a parrott kit in the end, just a pain as it was built in on my Honda
