I don't think its Jobs that needs to listen to the market but Nokia themselves. They changed from the standard Bluetooth previously and tried to take the market with them and failed miserably just before the Bluetooth standard came out and that back fired. My iphone has connected to pretty much everything I have asked it to and I am on my 3rd handset with no issues. Its about time ALL the German manufacturers started to follow a standard to allow a wide range of devices to connect to there cars - never had an issue with Honda's in the past but always get issues with German manufactured produced cars.

Initially yes I am interested but will depend on the date as I am back and forth to the USA a lot right now.

I'm keen to understand how this can be achieved, do you have any more beans to spill?

Can you access the deafult settings once the router has been on via the default 192.168.1.1 or whatever it is for your specific router? -

You might also want to check the wi-fi security standard (WPA etc) you have enabled just in case there is a compatibility issue. From memory I think this router operates a double firewall too. Is the channel set to automatic or have you predefined this to say ch6? -

Sounds like a mac address allocation issue, check the settings to see if device control is enabled just to be sure. -
Can you connect via Bluetooth without going through the MDI? I want to run the ipod through the MDI but the iphone won't connect to the car system?
