Front felicia lowering?

Featured Replies

I am looking to lower my 1998 Skoda felicia pickup and i have sourced mk4 golf gti rear springs for the back, but i am yet to find a suitable setup for the front. I read somewhere that skoda favorit springs on felicia struts will lower it 30mm or so but im unsure. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks Shaun

Pickup lowering thread here's a link to a thread for you..

i've also heard you can use fav springs but i've never tried it myself

yes fav springs are shorter due to the spring seat being higher on the strut body

will be fine as long as its a 1.3 pickup but not stiff enough for a 1.6/1.9d

Hi, Its a 1.9 diesel pickup i've got, but i was thinking maybe you could use the whole suspension strut from the favorit if possible?

ahh yes but the engine is a lot heavier than the 1.3 so the springs will be too weak for the diesel engine. jamex do a spring set i think or maybe worth getting a coilover conversion kit..

or get the springs cut a bit and correctly shaped again (not the easyist or best idea tho)

i used to have a H+P coilover setup for my 1.6 estate which only cost £200 new at the time so maybe they still do something?
