What pressure washer

Featured Replies

Well i am due to take collection of my new skoda fabia 3 on saturday and my gf has a Alpha Romeo Mito on order so i think i should consider getting a decent pressure washer with which i can try and keep em looking nice.

Read alot about snowfoam and looks pretty easy (not one for spending hours cleaning a car) but what pressure washer would you reccomend (not looking to spend too much max of about £100).

Also once washed what would you reccomend to keep it nice an shiny, again without spending hours as i am no pro detailer :p

Won't reccomend a pressure washer seen as my Karcher as just goner bang :(

But would point out that the snow foam is just one part of a many step process so once started you WILL spend hours washing your cars :giggle:

If you want quality Bosch

Nilfisk Alto make good stuff - especially their professional range - but it may be a bit out of your budget.

I havent had a chance to use it yet but i just picked up a nilfisk c110 from Argos for £59.99, down from the usual £79.99. They seem to get a lot of praise on DW ;)

let me know how you find it. Are you gonna be using it with a snow foam? if so what foam lance do you need to get and how well does it work.

I can highly recommend this Nilfisk Pressure Washer:

http://www.screwfix.com/prods/38209/Cleaning/Pressure-Washers/Nilfisk-ALTO-C120-2-6-Pressure-Washer-120bar-1-7kW-240V

for £89.99 from screwfix

IMHO it's far better quality than the Karcher washer I borrowed from my father before I bought my own. The most useful feature for a car washer is that the nozzle can be turned to provide variable pressure so you can turn it down a bit for safer usage so as not to blast the paint clean off your car!

It also comes with a small washer bottle attachment as standard that's fine for use with snowfoam/shampoo.

Very highly recommended

I know what your all going to say but.... my dad bought one from lidl/aldi i forget which, and has had no problems with it at all. sometimes cheap is the way to go... more money for cleaning products then :)
