Hi all , Ok , Im on AOL as my ISP , but when i go onto a page that has one of those Danasoft banners as a sig (the little sign that tells you your ISP and IP addy ect) it tells me my ISP is Opal Telecom (IIRC part of Talk Talk?) Whats going on here then , has there been a takeover?

Ive been with them since 1998 , they are probably surviving on the money that Ive gave them for 12 years!

I thought that AOL was migrating onto Car Phone Whorehouse/Talk Talk platform back in 2008/9? Maybe some more IP blocks have been reassigned to CPW?

CPW took over AOL about 2-3 years ago......

Could be that AOl has no equipment in your exchange, so buys space from someone that does.

As in I'm with Orange, used to show as easynet, now cable & wireless.
