Hi

Need some confirmation as to which version will work? I am having my VRS with Maxidot, Bluetooth and parking sensors so want to know which will work with all these and the climate controls?

I am led to believe it is the 1Z0 but will this be plug and play?

I'm not too sure which version will work but as you're getting maxidot then some recoding will be necessary to ensure full compatibility

For the FL Octavia I'm pretty sure the 1Z0 is the correct version.

3T0 is for a Superb. However either or unit will work they just need to be coded & i did read that a 1Z0 will need to have 2664 or 2684 firmware to work in a FL. Though i have yet to confirm this.

Sometimes you can be lucky and get it to plug and play. Generally the unit will work no problem. To get the Display on the Maxidot & MFSW (if you have it) to work though you will need to be coded by VCDS

Does anyone know what the coding is that is needed as I have a mate with a new VCDS cable.

Again, Yep, Thats exactly what I did, had to enable BAP also for the Maxidot, but pretty straightforward really.

I had never used VCDS before this either.
