Columbus SD Stored Destinations

Featured Replies

Hi There,

I Picked up my new Superb Elegance 170cr DSG today, and i am very pleased with it !!!!!

Now i no longer need my Tom Tom, i was wondering how i could use the 200 stored addresses of my customers and access them on my Columbus unit? They are curently stored in an OV2 file on my Tom Tom, and i see that you can enter destinations from an SD card, so i was wondering if anyone knows of the format they need to be in, or how to convert them from OV2?

This would save me a lot of time when visiting customers if i didnt have to enter the destination all the time, but i could select the right destination from a list.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Andy.

You can convert them to ascii format with something like pimp my nav, if you want to start doing more with POI's its a good purchase

Thanks Erniem,

I dont know if Ascii format will work from the SD card though? I know you can use Pimp My Nav to create a new ISO and burn a new disc, but i am not sure i want to do that just yet, without exhausting all of the opportunities with the SD card first. Cheers, Andy.

You can import most formats with Pimp My Nav, and export as well
