DUH i just realised perhaps he meant doc fee as in (document) :giggle: suppose i best check before i get my knickers in a twist. this fee has never been mentioned up until now 3 days before i'm due to collect my car

 yep it will be a document fee, as opposed to some hairy arse in Hull demanding money with menaces

on my previous finance deal they took this fee last i paid my monthly the the document fee was the last payment which was also "£125 so guessing maybe a standard fee just varies where they charge it, some spread it a few pound a month over the deal as well.

i've only had 1 finance and have vowed never to again as the amount you end up paying is so much higher! it is cheaper to add £7000 onto our mortgage, than to take a 5000 finance deal, adding onto our mortgage meant the final payment amount including interest is only £7700 on a 7k car, where as on a 5k finance through a second hand dealer i'd end up paying over 8000. worth others putting in there mind!

As long as you don't mind paying for your car over 25 years rather than 3...

There's usually one at the start and one at the end. :)
