Facelift Octavia-Light bulb Mystery

Featured Replies

My new facelift Octavia has two bulbs where the foglamps are. One is clearly the foglight. Anyone know what the other is for?Its I think a 21 watt bulb.

Have tried switching lights in all combinations but to no avail.

It's either a DRL or cornering light.

Looks like Daylight Driving Lights. Tried to switch them on from instructions in handbook -didn't work. Can any one enlighten me please?

Could it be bulbs are fitted but system comes as option?

Turn the engine on and turn the lights on then turn the steering wheel to full lock get out and see it on

They only light up in the direction your turning

Search the forum under DRL or daylight running bulbs. The dealer needs to plug in a computer thingy to select the various options for DRL.
