Hi all,

Just a quick hello as I'm new to the forum and also new to Skoda.

I've got myself a Skoda Superb comfort 1.8t on an 03 plate which I think I'm right in saying is a MK1?

Had it about a week now and I am thoroughly enjoying every moment in it.

I do have what I've now found to be the usual problem of the interior lights not working, all except rear right which only works when you switch it on manually, but a quick look at the forum and I've seen some links to some excellent write ups, so I'll be tackling that soon. When I say I, what I mean is we, as I'm not very technical minded but my brother works in the motor trade (panel beater by trade, now owns a vehicle glazing company) and he had already spotted the scuttle cover wasn't fitted correctly, so the water ingress problem seems the obvious cause.

I also have a Golf Gti MK4 which I think has the same 1.8t engine as the Superb? And then finally I have a E30 325i se coupe which is my pride and joy but sadly will be going soon as I can't justify running 3 cars.
