When driving in light rain with the WW on slow and then stop, the WW go automatically to the long intermittant operation as the windscreen gets dry. Drive off and they resume their set speed.

This is a feature of my VW Passat which does have a rain sensor but was also a function of a BMW 316 I had a few years ago which did not have a rain sensor function.

Another example of Skoda quality.

My 1998 renault scenic had this also !

I kept thinking the rear wiper was a bit dodgy on the yeti, as it parked in different positions. When I took the time to read the manual, I found that this was a "feature" to preserve the wiper.

My 2007 Octavia without rain sensing wipers does this too. It's a fairly common feature these days I believe.

ihave an se without rain sensors, and it does this,as did my le vrs i had before this, the only thing ive done is disable the auto rear wiper, as i found it annoying
