rear badge

Featured Replies

i am keeping my octy because of bad second hand trade in value so am freshening her up a little

i am looking for a part number for a rear hatch badge that reads ... dsg tdi

mine reads only tdi as per normal but i saw a european car recently while on holidays in spain wearing this other one

does any one know if skoda supplies these badges with the red eye vw style

many thanks for help

I think that the badge you saw is either some owner job or a dealer fit badge.I Think it's a bit pointless for Skoda to badge the car DSG,Imagine if Skoda badges the cars with all the options it 's got to each particular model. Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI PD,DSG.A/C,Maxidot,Alloys. :giggle:

Mine doesn't make any reference to the engine. Of the fact it is 4x4.

I know what it is, and that is all that matters.

Bought my badges of Ebay - A german seller selling OEM Audi badges, fair price and quick delivery

Badges are seperate 2.0TDI and smaller DSG

Also removed the original badge under OCTAVIA - my choice but I like it

Sorry for the reflections but its the best pic I could find quickly

To much information. I prefer no badges at all.

Presumably one would want more badges on the boot in order to inform others. But then one might also need a disambiguation page?

And if one does, how would anyone click it?

"From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

* Democratic Study Group, a legislative service organization (LSO) in the United States House of Representatives

My 1st laugh out load moment of the day ! Thank You !

I'd do one which would say." My car is cleaner, more economical, nicer to drive and faster than your stupid hybrid " . I think it says it all.

That's majorly interesting; is that true a 1.9PD is cleaner and more economical than a Prius? Any stats to support this?

I like that idea.... anyone up for a group buy if we can find a tacky badge maker ;)

A top gear test showed a Prius driving round the top gear circuit at 70mph,with Clarkson driving behind, simply keeping up with him in an M5,the Prius averaged 15 mpg,the M5 17 mpg,My Octavia deliveres 50 to even 62 mpg when driven as should and 35 to 40 mpg when driven as my hair is on fire, the Prius delivers only 45 mpg despite Toyota's claim of 75 mpg.And above all,The Octavia is a nice car to look at,from some angles it looks a million dollars but the Prius,it looks like a pile of ****e on 4 wheels.
