Is it me or is the front demist on my 07 L&K estate rubbish ?

I've tried the fastdemist button and that's about as usefull as me blowing on the screen !

It demists a bit quicker if I turn it up full blast but it's still not very good. Am I doing something wrong or are the front screen demisting capabilities generally rubbish ?

Try a new pollen filter, is the AC cold? Might need regassing.

In cold conditions (below 2°C iirc) the aircon does not run. So you will need to wait for some warmth to appear before demisting works.

Caught me out a few times this winter when I drove off and the windscreen suddenly misted up.

I do not think the system is any worse than other makes. Unless you have a heated F**d windscreen.

My 59 plate VRS hatch with 6K on the clock is crap too so I'd say it runs in the family!
