Rattling brake caliper

Hi,

The car is a Felicia 1.3 W reg. 78000 miles, one previous owner and full history. There is a rattle on the front near side over bumps and potholes. I thought it was a roll bar bush but they are OK. The rattle ceases completely if you apply the brakes so it appears to be a caliper rattle. I've had it checked for safety and am advised that it is fine, with a little play causing the noise. Has anyone come across this issue and found a fix?
