Buying Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I'm after buying a car for my year placement at uni in June and was wondering if you guys could me a hand.

My budget is £7000 and that's pretty much as high as I can go.

Ive been looking at the VRS because of its speed and economy as I'm going to driving 120 miles a day, so I'm after something economical yet something with some overtaking power. I used to have a 306 D without the turbo = bad times, cracking economy but no power.

I'm open to all cars, as I've also been looking at the Audi a3 (sick) and the golf but they both are a bit heavy on the wallet.

From your experience do you think I would be able to get a VRS with less than 60K on the clock for my budget?

If anyone is selling a VRS Limited Edition please let me know as they look the bollux!

Kind Regards

Daz

You'll easily get a vRS for that kind of money mate - have a look on autotrader - in the search options change the price range from £4k going up to £7k and in the further options bit change engine size to 1.7-1.9 and fuel to diesel - there's quite a few vRS's on there starting from about £4750, some look pretty nice.

Should be able to get a 56 plate with under 40K on it for £7000 I reckon

Thank you man, I've seen from your sig that you've got a VRS Limited Edition.

Do you ever see them up for sale?

Daz

They're pretty rare but you do occasionally see them up for sale, yeah.

Absolutely no chance on that budget - the cheapest one on Autotrader at the moment is £8790! Mind you, the one I like is the one going for £11K! Are they taking the **** or what!

i got a black vrs for £6495 with 40000 miles on a 06 plate in january.
