A new gathering for the calendar, www.cumbriavag.co.uk are hosting their 1st event, CumbriaVAG 2010.

Held at Heaves Hotel, near Kendal, it will be a 1 day, chilled-out event, with space for plenty of top-notch cars from the VW-Audi partnership, with a broad range of air and water-cooled dubs for you to pore over.

There will be a show and shine area, but this will be limited to a small-ish number of cars, so if you want to show yours, please e-mail us, details at the bottom of this ad.

There will be many catagories, and trophies will be given out to in all cases, ie. Best aircooled, best watercooled, best paint, best interior, engine bay etc.

Food and drink will be provided by the hotel itself, along with Ice-creams to keep you cool, as the weather will be great, but you’re welcome to bring a picnic if you like, but no open fires or BBQ’s please.

We are inviting all clubs / forums / groups to apply for club stands already, as we need to plot the area as soon as possible, so if you want to come, get cracking, there’s a limited number spaces! There will be an additional car-park for non-showing cars, also.

There will be no on-site camping, so if you’re wanting to come earlier, there’s a vast array of camp-sites within 30 minutes of the show, not to mention the great Dubz Upt Norf (http://www.dubzuptnorff.co.uk/) , make a weekend of it if you want!

Admission will be £5 on the gate per adult, under 16’s go free. Gates open for club cars at 9am, public 10am.

Heaves Hotel is situated just 5 minutes off the M6, Junction 36, and just 10 minutes from the wonderful Lake District.
