2007 Fabia 1 Handbrake

Featured Replies

Recently aquired my Fabia a few weeks ago, I have noticed the handbrake lever does need to be pulled quite far back in order to hold the car firmly. It's a 2007 car so could it be slack in the handbrake cable..? Or is it common on fabia's and i am just not used to it.?

I have a new (09) model, the handbrake only moves a small amount without a huge tug but stops the car moving as it should, so I am guessing yours needs adjusting or perhaps new cables or brake pads.
