What a difference - 4 wheel alignment done yesterday.

Featured Replies

I've had a lot of problems with the front suspension on my octy ... basically half of it's been replaced (arb, drop links, various other bushes), and even after all that work, i found the ride harsh, and noisy over poor road surfaces. I've always suspected that the car wasn't running true because it never felt relaxed even on a motorway jaunt, so i took it to a local garage yesterday and had a "computerised" 4 wheel alignment done .... OMG what a difference! The ride is so much more relaxed, the road noise is down considerably and even the phantom knocking from the front left suspension (which the dealer could not find a reason for) seems less obvious. It turned out that 3 of the wheels were out of alignment (even tho i couldn't see any particular odd wear on the Pirelli P6000's i have fitted to her).

Pirelli P6000s! Old school! B)

i had p6000's on my avensis and always liked them ..... and beleive me, that avensis got hurled down country roads on a daily basis :) old school they may be, but compared to some of the crap out there i think they are a pretty decent tyre for a "standard" car.
