Well, actually the Jabbasport chip seems very good value - considering the before & after plots and the specific tuning work that they do on the car.

My thoughts entirely , that's why I'm having mine done as well .

Regarding warranty , do you still expect to have warranty after your chip , or perhaps you have already approached your dealer in respect of this ?

Biased but .... I honestly don't believe you can do better than Jabba - for the money - and I'm not sure there's a better deal out there if you ignore the price either.

Regarding warranty - I spoke to my dealer's sales department and they have discussed this issue with Skoda UK in the past.

Whilst they will not guarantee to honour the warranty - the party line seems to be along the lines of "what we do not know cannot harm" - so keep it to yourself - when dealing with the service department of you dealer.

In my job (automotive electronics & diagnostics), I have spoken to people in Audi/VW UK about performance upgrades and they seemed fairly relaxed about it (and were running upgraded vehicles themselves).
