Cables under my seat??

found a cable under the drivers seat,also found a thread about it ,but conflicting opinions on what it was(12v supply for "TAXI" sign was a front runner :) ).

any deffinate answers?and i take it tucking it back up under the seat is where it should be.

vrs octavia 2001,non heated seats.

heated seats or side aribags maybe? must admit to not looking at other thread but can't really think of much else right now

What colour is the cable/plug?

Isn't it for the seatbelt warning light?

cable is a bundle wrapped up in the cloth wrap type stuff.

no heated seats or airbags AFAIK

I think it is the TAXI power cable as mentioned.

Seems to ring a bell (or light a light as the case may well be)

Could it be for a fuel pump cut off switch? Have heard of these being situated under seats before. THey activate to cut the fuel pump off in the event of an accident

Nah thats done by the airbag ECU on Skoda's, cuts off the supply to J17 Fuel Pump relay.
