This new option appears in the new Octavia brochure: 'Alarm with towing protection - £55.00'. Any idea what it does? Seems strange that it doesn't seem to appear in the Scout options or anywhere else for that matter.

It appeared when i ordered my Scout. There were 2 Alarams:

Alarm with interior monitoring and back up horn - PDA

Alarm with interior monitoring, back up horn and towing protection - PDB

I choose with towing protection, basically it has some sort of tilt sensors so in case of being lifted up it will sound.
