Greetings O helpful ones, had my furbie about 2 weeks and as its my first proper fueled car(black stuff) i was thinking that the car is idleing a bit high.The rev counter sits nearly touching the 1000 rpm mark but it doesnt sound like its racing but a bit diff to tell with a diesel.Any comments welcome !!

I think it's supposed to idle at 950rpm. They do idle higher than petrol engines.

Think mine was down as idling at 957rpm on the service sheet so about right. Mine's also idling a bit higher when I start it up now the weather's colder too....

Mine idles at about 900 rpm, you can adjust this via vagcom though.
