I'd love to get my Skoda Fabia to 260bhp, double the factory output..........

Would a VT5 + exhaust manifold + Diesel bob injectors do the trick?

Anyone have any idea on prices, or have any expierence with these mods?

The car's already got a VT2, Turbo back exhaust, Forge FMIC, PD160 intake and is @ 215bhp

VT5 would be pushing it even though I just about touched 260bhp with nos. I would recommend the GTB2260vk turbo though. :thumbup:

That turbo's gonna require all new pipework aint it?

What about lag?

Also, does anyone know what type of boost a VT2 can be ran at?

It holds boost @ around 1.8 bar, but spikes to 2.1......

You'll be lucky to see 260bhp on a stage 2 TD turbo - The VT2 (I think) is pretty much the same turbo.

Setup correctly, a 2260vk should not be laggy. I am looking forward to getting mine setup correctly though.

But how much would a 2260VK + exhaust manifold cost?

What are the other costs required/

Bit of pipework adaption - flange welding on your downpipe. A cast manifold would not be too much - perhaps £250? Turbo can be had for 750 odd euros from eastern Europe, brand new (Garrett factory is in Romania ;))

Could you help me get a manifold + downpipe sorted? I mean give me details who sorted yours out?

I have a Miltek downpipe at the moment..........

Worth speaking to Jabba about the manifold as they do one for Garrett use which will probably fit the GTB2260vk. :)

As for the turbo, I can give you a link, although last time I heard, the person who sold me mine has no stock in at the moment.

How much would you price a VT2 turbo with blown oil seals for? I got a quote to get the oil seals sorted for £200.

one of them is :) ... there is a uk on based near manchester airport ( well bout 5 mins away ) that deals with uk orders and recon work ;) ... only reason i know is it use to be a contract of mine

Ah right - because I am aware Honeywell (garrett turbo internals manufacturer) are based in/near Didsbury. :)
