Featured Replies

Hi,

Just to let you all know, the Octavia brochure now available online from Skoda UK is current from 1sr April 2010. No folding door mirrors on Elegance; variable boot floor still listed as standard on Elegance estate; 1.6 tdi dsg details listed. Haven't gone through it in absolute detail yet so not sure what else has changed.

1.8 TSI S and SE look like being deleted as small print says only available from stock.

Ref the comments about XDS and is it only available on the petrol as was the case with the Golf GTI/D, I note that the Golf GTD got it from early November procuction, so assume both Petrol and Diesel VRS now have it.

I now see the folding door mirrors are listed as a £180 extra on Elegance with boarding spots. My '07 Elegance has the spots, I assume they're no longer standard?

Dynamic Blue solid paint colour no longer available.

On SE, tinted glass stated as from B pillar back - this is same as Jan brochure, but seems a bit odd??

1.9 PD now stock vehicles only.

2.0 TDi still listed as PD - thought this was CR from around March '10 - it is for the Superb, but perhaps they're leaving the Octavia with the PD?

Octavia is reported to be getting 2.0 CR from June '10, so should be listed in the July Brochure.

Hmm my FL Elegance doesn't have the folding door mirrors but did get the boarding spots as standard...

from what I understand mine has the XDS fitted and its a diesel vRS this is however from the dealers so that is not a 100% certain thing

XDS was fitted from build week 49 on the CR.

XDS...Any way of telling if you dont know the build week?

+ The brochure does not state Maxidot as standard on the DSG equipped car again

XDS was fitted from build week 49 on the CR.

Previous posts implied the fitting of XDS from week 45. Similar to other responses, is there any way to know whether it is fitted or not.

I was trying to guess the week number.

:)

not sure, the vin or codes on the log book should provide an answer, maybe

I see the new brochure still lists about 50 obsolete phones compatable with the Skoda bluetooth unit. Im yet to find a current phone that FULLY integrates with the car and Maxidot.
