Power Steering-electrical fault light

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a Skoda Fabia x-reg 1.4.

The Power steering /electrical fault light comes on when ignitions on but goes off when you drive away.

Any ideas what causes this?

that may be normal... most lights have a test facility built in. As long as it goes off when you are driving.

If it USED to go off a few seconds after turning the key but NOT starting the engine but now only goes off AFTER starting up, this may still be just a bit of wear and tear or may be signs of a problem coming in the not too distant!!!!

I would only worry if it stays on with the lump running, as long as the steering goes light when running. :wonder:
